The Garden Route is a stretch of the south-eastern coast of South Africa which extends from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape to the Storms River in the Eastern Cape.
The name comes from the ecologically diverse vegetation encountered here and the numerous lagoons and lakes dotted along the coast.
Our guests who experience this magnificent stretch of coastline will begin the journey from Cape Town or Port Elizabeth, whichever best fits into there complete itinerary. It may include visits to various towns such as Hermanus, Mossel Bay, Oudtshoorn, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and Nature’s Valley.
Accommodation along this route will be in Luxurious Guesthouses and Boutique Hotels depending on each guests specific preferences.
Below are a few of our favorites.
This luxury guest house situated in Knysna, synonymous with its forests,
oysters, elephants, birdlife, and beautiful scenery of the lagoon and Knysna
This comfortable 4-star guesthouse, set on the hill, away from the busy main
road and the humdrum chaos of Knysna town.
